Are You Ready?

So, you have a sexy boyfriend or just a cool friend with benefits, and you feel like losing that annoying V (or so most seem to think about it). Yet, you aren't really sure yet if the time is right or not. Well first of all, to be honest, nobody can tell you when you are ready. More importantly even, nobody should. It's your body, and your life. Don't let anyone else ever take such big decisions for you. However, we can perhaps tell you when you most likely aren't ready yet (yes, ironically, we like to think we can).

Here are some 'signs' that you most likely aren't ready yet:

• You're unsure, and feel like asking someone else (definetly a big no no).
• You still have doubts haunting your mind.
• You're doing this for any reason other than pleasure or love.
• You've intimately known this person for less than 3 months (personal opinion).
• You're under 16 (again, personal opinion).

Now if any of that rings a bell, then yes, most likely you aren't ready yet. However, this isn't a set of rules nor guidelines. Do as you desire. Perhaps things might turn out great, despite of how unseemingly it seemed. Hope this helped. Take care, and remember, safety first!
