Answer

When you violate our Support Group Rules, your post will be reviewed by a member of our staff, i.e. Moderators, SuperMods or Administrators. If and when a staff member decides that your post is deserving of a warning, a warning will be issued. When the warning is issued, you will receive a personal message on the Support Groups with a link to the post, a quote of the violating post and of course the rules that were violated.

You will see the warning meter in your own posts, but not in those of the other members, so only you are aware of your warning level. Next to this warning meter you will see a percentage of 0%, 33%, 67% or 100%. Each of these percentages mean:

  • 0% (0 warnings): Every member starts with a 0% warning level. It will remain 0% if you behave yourself and are a responsible member of the site. It is not difficult to remain at a 0% warning level and the vast majority of our members will never need to be warned.
  • 33% (1 warning): This is your first warning. It is your choice whether or not you quit at this point. Your first warning may frighten you or make you worried, but it's not anything terrible. Just take it was a reminder to read our Support Group Rules thoroughly.
  • 67% (2 warnings): This is your second warning. This is commonly referred to as your last chance. At this point you are on very thin ice and the Moderator will often tell you that this is your last chance to start obeying our rules or be banned. Again, you should take this as an opportunity to become more familiar with our Support Group Rules so that you do not get banned in the future.
  • 100% (3 warnings): At this point you have received a 100% warning level. When this occurs, all of your warnings will be reviewed by an Administrator. If they are all properly issued, a ban will be issued for the appropriate length of time.
